JAXAMUSE

Jackie Levitt (jaxamuse) is an artist, educator and

community organizer that lives and works in

Dish With One Spoon Territory in Hamilton and Toronto. She specializes in beautifying spaces and places with site-specific installations, murals, and community-based projects.

 

Working primarily with video, projectors, and treated surfaces, she transforms ordinary environments into extraordinary meeting and gathering places. She creates beautiful experiences for both temporary events, and permanent installation.

 

Jackie uses a variety of tools to create original moving content, and brings her roots as a painter and illustrator into her media arts practice.
